Hello Blue Oaks Families!

I can’t believe we are in March and starting the 3rd trimester! Report cards will be emailed on this Friday. We have 4 short weeks until spring break and those weeks are packed with fun. Then afterwards, all the excitement really starts with CAASPP testing, pancake breakfast, field trips and much more.

Hello Blue Oaks Families!!

We finished off the week strong with great costumes by everyone! I was able to visit all the classrooms and saw engaging lessons, community building circles, buddy classes and much more.

As a reminder, students do not have school on Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday will be an early release day as normal.

Bear Bulletin 10/24-10/28

Hello Blue Oaks Families!!

What a fun week we had! The students really enjoyed the book fair and the bear jamboree was a huge hit. I can’t thank you all enough for your time, energy and dedication to our school and bears. We truly couldn’t do any of these fun activities without our volunteers.

We had a shelter drill on Thursday and I went around to most rooms to make sure all our students and staff were safe. The more we practice the better we are becoming. Next Wednesday we will have another fire drill!

Dear Blue Oaks Families,

Pizza with the principal was so much fun! I loved seeing all the smiling faces as they enjoyed their Domino’s Pizza. This month we are focusing on the responsibility character trait.

Thank you so much for attending Monday night skate night. It was the first of five so if you missed it, there will be more.  I heard it was an amazing turn out and we appreciate all the support and participation.

Dear Blue Oaks Families,

We had such a great week! The dance-a-thon was so much fun and our PTC did an amazing job transitioning our bear’s lair into a glow- in- the-dark dance floor. The students all seemed to enjoy themselves as the danced their hearts out for 45 minutes. Thank you for all the volunteers that helped support our Booster-thon! We couldn’t do it without all of you!

I also wanted to share more fantastic news with our community! Blue Oaks received the GOLD status for our work in PBIS. Please see the message below.

1/4/21 Welcome Back Reminders

Welcome Back from Winter Break!

We are eagerly awaiting all of our bears to join us back on campus tomorrow. As we come back from Winter Break, it is important that we remain diligent with our safety procedures and protocols. We have had multiple positive Covid results amongst members of our Blue Oaks community the last few weeks. The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority so we need to continue to work together. If we each do our part, we will be able to remain open for in-person instruction.
