Blue Oaks Ball

We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Blue Oaks Ball brought to you by Blue Oaks Elementary and the Blue Oaks PTC being held on Saturday, January 25th from 6pm – 8pm.

Comfort Food Cook-Off

Join us on Friday, January 24th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm at BMR/Napa Auto Care, located at 900 Riverside Dr. Roseville, CA. You’ll get to savor some delicious comfort foods made by parents, teachers, and principals as we compete against each other for a good cause. You’ll also have an opportunity to see some of the fleet from Bill McAnally Racing while enjoying comfort foods and a cold beverage. New Student Registration

The online portal to register new students to Blue Oaks Elementary School is now open! Please visit https://www.rcsdk8.org/student-registration. If registering an incoming Kinder, you will receive information about signing up for Kindergarten Assessments in the spring. Any missing documents can be brought at that time. For all other grades a seperate sign up will be sent out to bring in any required missing documentation. Before the end of the school year you will also receive a “Save the Date” for Orientation.

Returning Student Registration

The online returning student registration process has launched for our families for the 2020-2021 school year. This online portal continues to make the registration verification process more efficient by eliminating the majority of the forms sent home at the beginning of the school year.

All students returning to RCSD will be required to have the online registration process completed to ensure space in our schools for the upcoming school year. Current students advancing from elementary to middle school will register as returning students even though they are going to a new school. Please login today to complete this very important process.

New Office/Volunteer Procedures

Here is what you can expect when you visit the Blue Oaks office beginning Monday, January 13th. Visitors will be asked to present a valid state-issued ID, which will be scanned into the system. Upon reading the information, the Raptor Visitor Management System will check the national database to identify sexual offenders. Once entry is approved, the Raptor system will issue a badge that identifies the visitor, the date, and the purpose of his/her visit. 

A visitor’s badge will not be necessary for those who visit our school simply to drop off an item or pick up paperwork. All visitors who enter the school with the intention of traveling beyond the main office, or staying for a meeting in the office, etc. will be issued a badge and screened. 

The safety of our students is our highest priority and the Raptor Visitor Management system provides a consistent way to aid in keeping away people who may present a danger to our students. Therefore, all visitors to the school must be scanned into the system and obtain a visitor badge. The visitor badges must be returned to the office at the conclusion of the visit. 

School/Office Hours (Housekeeping)

The school will close at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 13th for a Secretary’s meeting at the District Office. Please ensure that your students are picked up on time.

Monday, January 20th is a holiday and the school/office will be closed.

Monday, February 10th is a holiday and the school/office will be closed.

Monday, February 17th is a holiday and the school/office will be closed.
