Mrs. Peterson’s Leave:

Mrs. Peterson will be finishing her maternity leave from August 10th – October 30th. While she is on leave Mr. Ken Kikosicki will be the interim principal. If you need to reach him at any time his email is kkikosicki@rcsdk8.org. Mr. Kikosicki and Mrs. Peterson will be in close communication to ensure a smooth transition and continued support for our families.

Library Donation

A big thank you to Mr. Ryan Harrell of Gemini Cabinet, Inc. for donating $500 for the 3rd year in a row to our school library!  Blue Oaks will be able to purchase many new and exciting titles with this contribution.  We can’t thank Mr. Harrell enough for this incredibly generous donation!

GATE Testing January 2020

The 2020-2021 school year GATE identification test will be administered at the District Office for students currently in 2nd – 7th grade.  The students will take the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test, OLSAT, that tests abstract thinking and reasoning ability.  Students must attend one of the testing dates on the OLSAT Parent Permission Form in order to complete the testing by the district.  The Parent Permission Forms are on our district website @ www.rcsdk8.org Click on the Main Menu and then under Programs – Gifted and Talented Education.
